| | |  Flexdex Slalom 30 Ventilated Skateboard The Slalom 30v is a fresh take on an OG design. While Flexdex has had a Slalom design since day one, the Slalom 30v takes it to a whole new level. Originally developed and produced for the 2006 line, the Slalom 30v has proven itself and solidified its spot on the Flexdex line-up for the 2007 boards.
By far the most flexy, this board is the sharpest turning, most quick rail to rail transitioning board in the 2007 line-up. Introduced for ’07 in the all new…BLACK, the next step in Flexdex materials. ¼” thick, this new Flexdex material is the lightest, fastest and most rider responsive to ever come out of the Flexdex Labs.
As one of Flexdex’s most classic designs the Slalom 30v has a reputation to uphold... so the work, testing and research that went into the re-designed board was extensive. The ground breaking design adopts the Flexdex Vent System running the length of both rails, allowing for maximum board flex and giving riders the highest possible turning and maneuverability of any skateboard made. Geared with fast response 8” Unit Trucks, 1/2" Vibra Soft risers, 65mm x 78a Urethane Center-Core-cast Flexdex wheels with a stone-grind finished contact patch and FKD Abec 5 racing bearings, the Slalom 30v is built for precision turning.
Ah yes - the Slalom in the new "Ventilated" version. This is the most popular short Flexdex model ever made. This was in the original group of Flexdex introduced in 1995. It has been tuned and modified repeatedly to enhance ride and response. It's flexy. I went to Australia with this and big 110kg blokes rode the crap out of this model. If you look around the site, you'll find a shot of this board being flexed with 500lbs of pressure - the deck is BELOW the bottom of the wheels! Like I said, they don't break.

Innovation in style and functionality. The Slalom 30v incorporates the Flexdex Vent System to make this classicly-shaped slalom deck even more flexible and plush. The vents on the Slalom 30v amplify the force on edge by allowing additional edge tension to be applied.
Once footing is solid on the board, the lively nature of the deck is realized with a few simple pumps. The Slalom 30v allows for traditional slalom style stance, as well as more open stances based on rider preference. With a slightly drawn out nose and tail, the board utilizes both the composite materials and routed vents to compress and unleash the concussive power that the deck’s BLACK material inherently contains.
This skateboard gives lightning quick heel-to-toe transitions, making tight turns and highly controlled drifts very comfortable and reliable. This allows the rider to execute extremely aggressive cornering on demand and at a moments notice. The Slalom 30v is not only at home cornering cones, but also as a sidewalk pumping machine.
